Communications & Call Recording Consent
Effective date: July 12, 2026
This page explains how CloseLife may contact you when you submit a demo request or inquiry through our website, and how calls placed or received through the CloseLife platform by insurance agencies may be recorded, monitored, and transcribed. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. Consent to be contacted about our software
By submitting a demo request or other inquiry on closelife.io, you consent to be contacted by CloseLife at the email address and telephone number you provide, regarding your request and our software. This contact may include live telephone calls, emails, and text (SMS) messages where offered.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can reach us at support@closelife.io instead of submitting a form.
2. Revoking consent / opting out
You may revoke your consent at any time by any reasonable means, including:
- Replying "STOP" to any text message;
- Telling the caller you no longer wish to be contacted;
- Emailing support@closelife.io with the phone number or email you want removed; or
- Using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
We will honor revocation requests within the timeframes required by law.
3. Call recording, monitoring, and transcription
Calls placed or received through the CloseLife platform may be recorded, monitored, and transcribed for quality assurance, training, compliance, and record-keeping purposes. Recording is controlled by the insurance agency using the platform — not by CloseLife — and recordings may be processed by automated systems, including artificial intelligence services that generate transcripts, summaries, and coaching suggestions for the agent on the call.
Where required by law — including in states that require the consent of all parties to a call — you will be notified that the call is being recorded, and by continuing the call after that notice you consent to the recording, monitoring, and transcription. If you do not consent, tell the caller and/or end the call, and you may request contact by email instead. The agency placing or receiving the call is responsible for providing any required notice and obtaining any required consent.
4. How recordings and transcripts are used
- To document the call and the information discussed on it;
- To train, coach, and supervise the agency's agents;
- To generate automated notes, summaries, and coaching suggestions for the agent on the call;
- To investigate complaints and comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and
- For security and fraud prevention.
Recordings and transcripts belong to the agency and are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. You may request deletion of your data via our data deletion page; where an agency controls the data, we will route or support your request as required by law.
5. Agency calling compliance
Insurance agencies that use the CloseLife platform to call or text consumers are independent businesses and are required by our Terms of Service to comply with all applicable telemarketing and call recording laws — including the TCPA, Do-Not-Call rules, calling-time restrictions, and consent requirements — and to honor opt-out requests. If you ask an agency not to call you again, that request should be directed to (and honored by) that agency.
