Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page explains how residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined by law, and how to exercise other privacy rights. See our Privacy Policy for full details on our data practices.
1. What "sell" and "share" mean here
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not sell or refer leads. However, some state laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended) define "sale" and "sharing" broadly. Under those definitions, one of our practices may qualify:
- Advertising measurement — we use cookies, pixels, and server-side event tools (for example, the Meta Conversions API) that disclose limited identifiers to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising and attribution of our own marketing.
2. How to opt out
- Email — send a request to privacy@closelife.io with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" and the name, email, and phone number associated with your submission. We will process verified requests within the timeframe required by law.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) — where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals sent by your browser as a valid request to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Opting out does not stop disclosures that are not "sales" or "sharing" — for example, disclosures to service providers who host our infrastructure.
3. Other privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may also have the right to:
- Know/access the personal information we have collected about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your information (see our data deletion page);
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information; and
- Exercise these rights without discriminatory treatment.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf where permitted by law. We will verify requests as required before acting on them.
