Non-Discrimination Notice

Effective date: July 12, 2026

CloseLife is committed to treating every person with fairness, dignity, and respect. This notice describes our non-discrimination policy for visitors to our website and for the software platform we provide to insurance agencies and their agents.

1. Our policy

CloseLife does not discriminate against, exclude, or treat people differently on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, marital or familial status, pregnancy, disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. This applies to how we operate our website, support our customers, and provide our platform services.

2. Insurance underwriting is separate

CloseLife is not an insurance company and does not make eligibility, pricing, or coverage decisions. Insurance carriers may lawfully consider certain actuarially justified factors (such as age, health, and tobacco use) in underwriting life insurance, as permitted and regulated by state insurance law. Questions about how a carrier underwrites a policy should be directed to that carrier or to your state's department of insurance.

3. Expectations for professionals using our platform

Insurance agencies and agents who use the CloseLife platform are required, as a condition of our Terms of Service, to comply with all applicable anti-discrimination and unfair trade practice laws, including state insurance codes prohibiting unfair discrimination in the sale and solicitation of insurance.

4. Accessibility

We strive to make our services accessible to people with disabilities. See our Accessibility Statement for details and for how to request assistance or an accommodation.

5. How to report a concern

If you believe you have experienced discrimination in connection with CloseLife's services, please contact us. We take reports seriously, will review them promptly, and will not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
