Cookie Policy
Effective date: July 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how CloseLife uses cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies on closelife.io. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Related technologies include pixels (tiny images or scripts that report when a page or ad was viewed) and local storage (data your browser stores for a site). Together, these let a site remember your visit and measure how the site is used.
2. Types of technologies we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the site and platform to function, including authentication/session cookies and security features. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — remember preferences such as display settings.
- Analytics — help us understand traffic and site performance (for example, pages viewed, referring URLs, and approximate location derived from IP).
- Advertising and measurement — used by us and partners such as Meta (Facebook) to measure ad effectiveness and attribute demo requests, including through pixels and server-side event tools (for example, the Meta Conversions API).
3. Third parties
Some technologies are set by third parties, including Google (Firebase authentication and analytics infrastructure) and Meta. These parties may receive information about your visit, subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control third-party cookies.
4. Your choices
- Browser controls — most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in and other features.
- Ad platform controls — you can manage ad preferences through your Meta and Google account settings, and through industry tools such as optout.aboutads.info.
- Opt-out of sharing for advertising — see our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
- Global Privacy Control — where required by law, we treat recognized opt-out preference signals from your browser as a request to opt out of the sharing of your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our practices or the technologies we use change. Questions? Contact support@closelife.io.
